079 | Why burnout isn’t a measure of success // the glamorisation of working hard, with Jess, Founder of Moana Maroke

After being pretty unwell last week I was forced to have a few days off, which provided good opportunity to step back and reflect on the way I work and why.

Joined by Jess, founder of Moana Maroke, we compare our experiences of burnout, the culture around working 24/7, and the relationship you have with yourself, when you work for yourself.

Jess and I are quite opposites when it comes to setting boundaries and looking after ourselves, so her experience of putting her health and happiness first was so helpful for me to see how finding balance can aid productivity.

This conversation is a great reminder that you can stop and make dinner or take the time to do the things you enjoy and still be a hard working, passionate business owner.

The quick fire round is a long one this week as always bringing that lighter mood and ending us on a high!

If you've got 2 mins, why not share your thoughts on todays' episode with me over on Instagram... I'd love for you to continue the conversation!
