Thank you lockdown for....

4 months ago, as we were stepping into lockdown, I wrote in my journal ‘I don’t know what this season will hold but I trust it’s everything I didn’t know I needed’.

I’ve struggled to put my experience of running a business in a pandemic into words but looking back, that sentence just about does it.

It’s been challenging. It’s been frustrating. It’s been hard. But it’s also been transformative. It’s held changes, clarity and ideas which without this season, would never have come to life. And I know I’m not the only one.

I’m seeing clients and friends leave lockdown with a business that looks totally different to the one they entered it with. New offerings. Streamlined processes. Clearer boundaries. Stronger foundations. Less hustle. More rest.
